My calligraphy services are free, but you must pay for materials. You can source the materials yourself and send them to me to work on, find the materials online and send it to me to order myself, or let me find you the best option and charge you the cost. Whatever works best for you!
Calligraphy is a hobby for me and I simply am not interested in spending my energy on developing a business. However, I love making items that are meaningful to real people. I also love the ideas that customers bring and the ability to pursue my hobby for free. We both benefit from this arrangment!
Time will depend on the scale of the project. In most cases, it will take one week after I receive the materials. If your project is especially large, I will provide a more accurate estimate when we confirm your order.
Since there are no special materials needed for digital services, they are completely free! However, I will prioritize physical requests first, so anything digital may have a longer turnaround time.
I can work on almost any material and I'm more than happy to try new things! Most common options are paper, chalkboards, mirrors, and glass. Otherwise, let me know and we'll work it out!
Digital services are available everywhere. Physical items are available in Vancouver for pick-up only. I do not provide shipping because this severely complicates the order.
